1. Acceptance

By downloading, installing, or using Leave a Light On, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the game. This game is intended for players aged 13 and older; users under 13 may not use this app. If the legal age for entering a binding contract in your jurisdiction is higher than 13, you must meet that age, or have a parent or legal guardian accept these Terms on your behalf.

2. License

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the game for personal entertainment. You may not reverse engineer the client, modify it, exploit bugs, use cheats or automation, or resell accounts.

3. Virtual items and currency

• Lumens, Embers, Tokens, cards, and other virtual items are licensed digital content. They are not your property, cannot be exchanged for legal currency, and cannot be transferred outside the game.
• Paid and free currency sources are recorded separately. Paid balances are consumed first, as also shown in the in-game Shop.
• Random draw content is disclosed in the in-game Odds Disclosure page before purchase.
• If the service is discontinued, unused paid virtual currency will be handled according to applicable law, with advance notice.

4. Payments and refunds

• Purchases are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play. Platform payment and refund rules apply.
• If the platform approves a refund, the corresponding virtual currency or entitlement may be removed from the game account. If already consumed, the account may receive an adjustment or require support review.
• Purchases made by a minor without the consent of a parent or legal guardian may be cancelled in accordance with the requirements of applicable law. Use the platform refund process or contact support@cranelightstudio.com; we will cooperate honestly and promptly.
• The monthly pass is a 30-day entitlement. It is not auto-renewing and will not charge automatically after expiry.

5. Player conduct

You may not use the game for unlawful activities or commercially distribute game content without authorization.

6. Intellectual property

All game content, including AI-assisted artwork and text reviewed by human creators, belongs to CraneLight Studio (CraneLight Studio LLC) or its licensors.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The game is provided as is. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

8. Termination

Accounts that violate these Terms may be restricted or terminated. Except for records that must be retained by law, access to virtual items may end after termination.

9. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the law of New Mexico, United States, except where mandatory consumer protection law provides otherwise.

10. Changes

We will announce material changes in the game and require you to review and affirmatively accept the updated Terms before continued use.
